ABOUT CEA

CEA was founded and is led by Chris Talbott, filmmaker and member of the Sundance Institute Collective. He learned first hand the positive power of celebrity while helping Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon produce the Academy Award-winning movie Dead Man Walking, which challenges the morality of the death penalty. Since then he has continued producing stories with social impact through his movies, videos, and this agency.

HOW CAN CELEBRITY SUPPORT HELP YOUR CAUSE?

CEA notably helped Heifer International grow from a $17 million organization to one that raises over $ 100 million per year. We did so by strategically cultivating powerful and passionate celebrity supporters, who showed up repeatedly over a period of years; and who helped us recruit their celebrity peers.

  • Credibility

  • Exposure (press and social media)

  • Fundraising through events, crowdfunding and corporate sponsorships

  • Access to influential people in media, politics, culture and global corporations

CEA worked with clients in Uganda, Cambodia, and in the USA, including helping HeadCount register tens of thousands of voters in one day through a celebrity-driven social media campaign. Eventually we were mobilizing and coordinating dozens of celebrities thru appearances in the media and at events, publicity stunts, video campaigns, celebrity-penned editorials, social media campaigns, music, videos and much more. When talented compassionate people share their dedication for a cause it creates a ripple effect. That's the power of authentic celebrity support.
