Hope North founder Okello Sam performed his original plays, Forged in Fire, in Brooklyn on May 2, 7, 9, 14 and 15 at the Voorhees Theatre in Downtown Brooklyn. Tickets $20 general admission / $10 for students.

Forged in Fire is inspired by Okello's brother Godfrey, and uses original song, dance and humor to communicate their experiences of civil war in northern Uganda. The play was produced in conjunction with City Tech Theatre works and Entertrainment Technology Dept., Cause Effect Agency and Jen Chapin.

CEA exists to promote stories that impact our world for the better. This is sure to be one of the most memorable storytelling events we have had the pleasure of helping to bring together.
