Susan Sarandon: Inspirational Woman

Posted on October 8, 2010 by Cause Effect Agency

Last week Donna Karan relaunched its DKNY website with a brand new feature—the “interactive philanthropic forum,” Women Who Inspire. Karan, herself a noted philanthropist, chose to highlight a number of high-profile women who are dedicated to making the world a better place, and provide a platform where they could share information and media about the causes they support. We are happy to announce that Susan Sarandon chose to highlight Cause Effect Agency clients Hope North and Heifer International as two of her charities of choice.

Click the image above to learn why she’s such a passionate supporter, and find out more about other truly inspirational women, including Demi Moore, Maria Shriver, Iman, Uma Thurman, Nicole Kidman, Christy Turlington, and Brooke Shields.

Visitors to the site are also invited to nominate their own “woman who inspires” on the DKNY Facebook page. Fans of the page will get to vote on the most inspirational women, and the winner receives a $10,000 donation to her charity!
