Today I attended The Critics’ Choice Awards with colleagues from Heifer International, the Awards’ official charity of choice. We were excited to see several Heifer donors receive honors, including Meryl Streep.

I had recruited loyal Heifer donors Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri to host the official Critic’s Choice after-party, to benefit Heifer. Heifer supporters BLT & Associates designed a chic Heifer-themed room where Susan and Eva could hold court and share Heifer’s story with the party guests. Visitors to the Heifer room included Adam Lambert, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Craig Richardson, all of whom were new to Heifer’s work. Heifer staff worked the party, handing out pins that playfully promote Heifer, while outdoors Heifer’s logo was represented on the Red Carpet while the media snapped away.
