Pass on the Gift with Heifer New York

On Tuesday, April 5, Heifer in Greater New York, the local volunteer chapter of Cause Effect Agency client Heifer International, will host the “Pass On The Gift” Gala at Galapagos Arts Space in Brooklyn. The idea of “passing on the gift” is a central tenet of Heifer’s holistic solution to world hunger, and is reflected in this event with all of its proceeds going directly toward the organization’s ongoing relief efforts in Haiti.

This is the second year for the Gala, and this time around it will be co-Chaired by renowned musician Dan Zanes (Dan Zanes and Friends) and bestselling author Anna Lappé (Diet for a Hot Planet). The evening will feature live Haitian Creole jazz from Mozayik, an array of sustainable treats and hors d’oeurves, and a silent auction of items donated by New York-area businesses who share Heifer’s passion for ending hunger and poverty while caring for the earth.
