On April 19th, Content Mode, Mary-Louise Parker and Syrup came together to throw a launch party for Mary-Louise’s new photo spread in Content Mode magazine. The night was packed with various film and television stars and all proceeds went to help Hope North, a school in Uganda for former child soldiers and orphans.

Norman Reedus of the Walking Dead was there to debut a new film short and the crowd was entertained with a viewing of The Thing That Happened, an award winning film short about Hope North with music by Ad Rock.

Music for the night was provided by DJ Andy Carroll from London, who spun 80s tracks mixed with electronic beats hand picked for the crowd.

It was an all around successful evening and we would like to thank Mary-Louise for helping Hope North in such a personal way. Good luck Mary-Louise in the filming of Weeds Season 8!
