World Ark, Heifer, and Susan Sarandon

In May, Heifer International published their new edition of the World Ark with a sneak preview of Susan Sarandon’s trip to Cambodia to visit Heifer’s work and that of friend Somaly Mam.

The article, which was timed as a supporting document for Heifer’s Mother’s Day 2012 campaign describes the trip Ms. Sarandon and her daughter Eva Amurri Martino took to Cambodia in December of 2011 to visit the work of two of their favorite charities.

While in Cambodia the mother daughter pair was accompanied by the renowned photographer Brigitte Lacombe, who shot her portrait photographs at the historic Angkor Wat, photos to be included in the 25th Anniversary edition of Conde Nast Traveller Magazine’s Visionaries Series.

Susan and Eva were escorted and guided through the labyrinthine itinerary by Cause Effect’s own Chris Talbott who arranged the trip and the concomitant press as a part of his work with both Heifer International and Somaly Mam Foundation.
